The cherry blossoms were just beautiful, so among several possible routes, we chose a cycling route with a view of the cherry blossoms and the Northern Alps.

Hotaka Station → Hotaka Shrine → Azumino Yamabiko Cycling Road → Matsumoto Castle → Lunch near Matsumoto Station → Usu River → Azusa River → Azumino Yamabiko Cycling Road → Hotaka Station

Two people from the United States. They had run the Shimanami Kaido before coming to Azumino City, Nagano Prefecture.

I want to run in the beautiful scenery that is typical of this area.
I want to run relatively good, long distance.
I would like to have lunch with my family (They don’t do cycling).
Tour Summary;
The cherry blossoms were just beautiful, so among several possible routes, we chose a cycling route with a view of the cherry blossoms and the Northern Alps.
We set the distance not too long and met the family at Matsumoto station just around noon to allow time for a local meal.
Since they are experienced cyclists, I chose a sport-type cross bike for them.
The weather was beautiful and the day was pleasant.
