The temperature in the mountain areas
Please fully understand that mountain areas are at high altitude and the environment is very different from where you spend your daily life.
Although the thinness of the air and the intensity of ultraviolet rays also have an effect, here is a graph of temperatures as the easiest information to understand and use in selecting clothing for reference.
The temperature that is actually felt by the body is called the sensible temperature, which is 1°C colder for every 1 m/s increase in wind speed. In other words, even if the temperature is 10°C, if the wind speed is 10 m/s, the sensible temperature is 0°C.
In the graph, elevation 1500m = around the trailhead such as Kamikochi . Elevation of 3000m = near the summit.
